The beauty of this region is that you can enjoy an intimate visit without the crowds – designed by nature to be explored – National Parks, walking trails, waterfalls and beaches offer endless possibilities.With about 75% of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area in this region take the opportunity to immerse yourself in nature. With the World Heritage status this region is a sanctuary for native wildlife from brightly coloured insects like the Ulysses butterfly to shy mammals.  It is also a bird watchers paradise with nearly half of Australia’s birds found in the Wet Tropics.

The Great Barrier Reef is the largest, most spectacular coral reef system in the world. Giant clams, turtles and array of colourful fish can be seen when you snorkel or dive though its coral gardens. With King Reef just off our beach (approx 800m) we have the added benefit of being able to walk out to explore the reef on very low tides. This unique opportunity is only available for a few months of the year.
