The Kurrimine Beach Holiday Park is run by a family, we have first hand experience of holidaying with children and we know that the dream and the reality are often two very different things. We know, first hand, what it means to be family friendly. Knowing that kids need to be well… kids (and that mum needs a holiday too) we’ve created the perfect family holiday destination, everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
Water Park
With water jets, a huge tipping bucket and three water slides our new water park keeps the kids occupied for hours. The water park is fully fenced and separate from the main swimming pool offering a safe play environment. There is a shaded seating area for parents, that is of course if they are not enjoying the slides too!
Swimming Pool
Our 25m salt water swimming pool is a great hit with families. We have added some giant inflatable toys which provide hours of fun for kids of all ages! Our pool has an access ramp with handrails for our less mobile guests.
Obstacle Course – New
Our new inflatable Obstacle Course is now open for action. Come along, get lost in the Obstacle Course and enjoy the fun.
Bikes
A new addition to our park are the new Surrey Bikes and pedal Go-Karts. Hire out one of the bikes and take the whole family out to explore the township of Kurrimine Beach.
Playroom
Our playroom offers an indoor play area full of toys and games, such as a undercover basketball hoop and ping pong table . The perfect escape from the midday sun! Our little ride on cars are a great hit with little ones. Our playroom has a large screen TV just right for settling the little ones down after a busy day in the pool.
Giant Chess & Checkers
We are always surprised by the number of children that play chess these days. Our giant chess set gets a good workout with children trying to win against their parents – or should that be the other way around?
Beachcombing
Make sure you bring your buckets and spades as all of our facilities are within walking distance of the beach. On low tides there are rock pools to explore, the beach itself is a treasure trove of exciting souvenirs and children love finding shells, coral and driftwood – just make sure you carry a bag for all their treasure!
Small, Safe, Everyone has Kids!
Probably one of the best things about our holiday park is that it is small & friendly. The park is full of families so your children won’t take long to make new friends. They have the freedom to run around and play by themselves (they do need to be supervised in the pool and waterpark though for obvious reasons). With so much for the children to do here parents don’t need to entertain their children – so parents get the chance to relax too.
Family Friendly Town
Not only is our park family friendly but the town is family friendly too…. Dining out with children can be a hassle, trying to get them to sit still and be quiet. Our local pub does great children’s meals and has a large grassy area where the children tend to congregate and play whilst you enjoy a quiet meal.
One of the best thing’s about this town is that there are no shops – well only for basic groceries, this completely removes the “I wants…” from your holiday. The most the kids can hassle you for here is an ice-cream or to go and play in the pool!
Computers & Internet
It’s great to see children and families playing in the great outdoors. With all the fun at the park your children really won’t have time for computer games so we suggest that you don’t pack them. Whilst we do have a free WiFi internet throughout the park it is a very limitied download limit per day which means the kids don’t spend all day on their devices.
Pets
Whilst we are a pet friendly park and your dog is more than welcome we do ask that you seriously consider the implications of holidaying with your four legged friend, we have so many families that bring a dog on holiday and then end up taking it home again after a couple of days. The added responsibility of looking after a dog in a caravan park does not always make for a relaxing time.
For the safety and quiet enjoyment of all our guests we are strict on our pet policy. We ask that if you bring a pet with you that it must be on a leash and under control at all times, ensure you pack some doggy bags as you must clean up after your dog. Dogs are not permitted inside our cabins under any circumstances, they can be left on the deck/patio area. Dogs are also not permitted in children’s play areas or our camp kitchen. You cannot leave your dog unattended at your site and the dog must not annoy your neighbours.
