Inclusive tourism is for everybody. It means disabled and non disabled, slow walkers, people with crutches or walking sticks, children on holiday with grandparents, it means groups enjoying trips together. In short it means no exclusion because of ‘special needs’.
We are busy working on facilities to ensure that our park is fully accessible to all guests even those with restricted mobility. This is currently a work in progress with more features being developed throughout this year.
Most of our guests won’t even notice the small things that can make a difference but hopefully when everything is in place, if you do have mobility issues you will appreciate the facilities we are putting in place.
Accessible Beach House – our fully compliant Beach House has an access ramp and accessible bathroom with wheel-in shower, shower seat and hand rails. With a king bed (that can also be set up as two singles) in the main bedroom and single bunk beds in the second bedroom this spacious unit offers great holiday accommodation for the whole family.
Accessible Beach Shacks – Our new eco-friendly Beach Shacks are a step up from camping. They are essentially a one room cabin with shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. Our Beach Shacks have ample space for a wheelchair to move around and our bathroom facilities include a fully equipped wheelchair friendly bathroom with wheel in shower, shower seat, adjustable shower head and handrails around shower and toilet.
If you are after a fun budget accommodation alternative, from as little as only $20 more a night than a campsite, then the Beach Shacks would be a great choice.
Accessible Bathroom – if camping or caravanning is more your thing we have a dual purpose Family/Wheelchair Friendly bathroom available.
Water Park – our newest attraction at our holiday park is not off limits to less mobile guests – we even have a waterproof wheelchair so that you don’t miss out on the fun!
Swimming Pool Access Ramp – our new ramp into our pool is a hit with young and old making it easy to get into and out of our pool.
Beach Access Wheelchair – Our new dune buggy wheelchair is proving very popular for exploring beautiful Kurrimine Beach.
